Last Monday we arrived from our quick Boracay work get away trip. That evening of our arrival we decided to head out for dinner. I kinda was hung over by the beach vibe so I wore something very casual and "free" anyway I digress I wore the accessories I got from our bora trip to give it that beach bohemian bum feel.

WHAT'S IN MY CLOSET: Cesa goes Corporate in a bandeau

Hey guys! So it's been a week or a little more so that I did my last outfit "what's in my closet" post. This month a number of things came in for me to do and I've been so busy with prepping:) So from Gradshow, to school work, to actual work and an upcoming project, (that I am beyond excited about) I haven't had the time to pose and shoot my what's in my closet page. To top it of the WolF and Cesa's very own Chaley Tiu and I went to Boracay to enjoy the long weekend and shoot Cesa's upcoming holiday collection:) Really excited about their new collection simply cause their new pieces are beyong gorgeous. Few months ago I did a shoot for Rocky's class with Ms Amina Aranaz. Her inspiration was black swan-which I was excited to do. Unexpectedly and flatteringly I was her muse for the month and I was more than happy to model for her simply cause I love Rockster and we work well together:) Our dynamic when we were together is pretty amazing and fun. 

 For those of you who don't know me very well I use to take ballet and so when she told me about the peg and her concept I was pretty excited to put my ballet knowledge to use. There were a lot of great shots that were taken from the shoots but these by far I my favorite ones:) Thanks Rocks for the fun day of shooting:) Excited to work and buy more products from you soon:) With that said I wish you all a great evening ahead:)

Last Saturday after a shoot (more information on that soon) the WolF and I had some yummy but healthy lunch at Mogou in Serendra ,where we also took advantage of the sun and did some outfit shots. Really loved my outfit that day simply cause it's a mixture of boho glam with a pintch of vintage, which pretty much captures the essence of my personal style:) I really loved all the shot The WolF took of me that day that it took me this long to decide which photos to post:) Add glam to your look with something shiny and smarkly to give your outfit more "sass" With that said have a great remaining week ahead and remember to always have fun;)

August 10, 2012: Last Friday was a long day of work, meetings and crunch time to finish my upcoming collection and orders for some clients. To top it off I wasn't feeling to well that day simply due to lack of sleep and exhaustion from all the things I had going on that day. The remedy to my icky feeling is always to dress up to make myself feel good about myself and to add a little life to my day:) I mean if there's no life in you then how can you function?!:) lol:) But anyway my inspiration for this outfit is 50's american" poodle skirt" wear:) I love the 50's and I especially love the poofiness and the volume of their skirts during those times. Although for fun I decided to wear my skirt the other way around and have the tutu side expose just to make it a little more modern and more me:) Bring life into your day by dressing up and as always have fun with you're look;) With that said I wish you all a wonderful week ahead:)

Today was a really long but wonderful journey. I started the day running errands and working on several upcoming projects as well as took time to help out those in need and give back to the community. I also managed to work on my upcoming pieces for my grad show and I manage to squeeze in some time with my family which was really amazing:) Lately I've been building ideas and making them happen piece by piece which is kinda where I got the inspiration for my outfit for the day. But before I get into that let me share a little background on one of the pieces of this outfit that explains it all. So you see the aqua vest? well lately since I started working on my final collection I've found myself stuck in design, fabric choices, bad weather and pile of work that keep me from working on my collection. So many things have been stopping and preventing me from working on my collection. One night though as I found myself stuck in bed with high fever I noticed the aqua blue drapes hanging from my bedside from there I started to picture a collection in my head. I took my notebook and doodled it onto my book and 4 days after when I felt better I took down my drapes and started sewing some pieces- very sound of music don't you think?:) lol:) But anyway from my drapes came this vest. Soon after that I eliminated all the barriers, the excuses and reasons for not finishing my collection and found myself designing and working on it again. I found solutions to problems and alternatives to help me get on my way. It's from there that I realize that we create the possibilities in life with that pinch of imagination. With that said my advice for the day is to create possibilities and as always have fun with it!:) Wishing you all a greatness wherever in the world you may be:)

WHAT'S IN MY CLOSET: Bringing Cesa into the rain

AUG 8, 2012:Yesterday since it was sunnier outside and the rain had stopped I assumed there was school. So I got my school & outfit ready only to find out school was suspended. Anyway yesterday I was in the mood to wear my favorite Tarifa Shorts from Cesa designs. Though these shorts are see-through I found a way in which Icould wear it without causing scandal. one option is to ignore and just go with it and wear good undies  to show off:) The second and more likely solution is to wear a pair of cycling shorts, which you can get from rustan's or SM sports section, to cover up what you're mama gave you:)  With that said I wish you all a great day ahead. And always have fun with your look!;)
