June 20, 2012: Yesterdays outfit touches of the day was inspired by my two good friends Guia and Jireh. They're both the reason why I pushed myself to continue blogging:) They kinda convinced me that logging was fun together with my new pinning obsession:) These two are amazingly talented and creative and two of the people whose personal style says a lot about their character:) I love how they wear themselves everyday in their clothes. When I go to a store and see things that remind me of them, that's a sign that they're personal style in loud and clear. I love these two!!:)
So Guia and I have a lot in common when it comes to things we like and don't like and sometimes even the way we think is the same:) I love how we both think of the same thing at the same time and how hyper we are when we get excited or see cute things like bunnies, foxes and stuff. Guia
has this interesting vintage and slightly organic style thats kinda similar to my style aesthetics: But lately I noticed in her new postings and clothing choices she has this backpacker peg thing going on. Click here and here to get an idea on what I'm talking about:) Which if you read this and this blog post you'll know it's my new dress peg/ theme. If you click on the links i posted earlier of Guia's blog post you'll see what elements I took as inspiration for my outfit:)
As for Jireh she was one of my first friends in Sofa and one of the people i do the bunny hop for whenever i see her in school. Jireh is someone in my life who knows me so well considering the short amount of time we've been friends:) She probably knows me better than I know myself at times:) hehehe:) I love how Ji and I are always hyper and goof heads when we're together:) It's too much fun:) So when you think of her you think, Flowers, Lace, Hiphop/Dance and Girly Girl. Or at least those are the words that pop into my head when I think about Jireh's personal style:) Click here and here to see what I'm talking about. I rarely wear lace and I rarely wear things with flowers in it because it's just not my style. But as we were doing some spring cleaning I found this blazer polo top in my moms closet which I deconstructed and made into a polo that has some floral prints in it:) The floral touches of the top reminded me of Jireh for some reason:) Then I borrowed Chaley Tiu's lace vest to add a Jireh touch to the look.
Of course I tied the look all together by putting my personal style touches into the inspired look by Cesa's Galicia bikini the one I wore in this shoot for Cesa. I mean you won't have a Lewildfox look if you don't put some unconventional twist to your look:) I mean seriously, who said you can't wear a bikini top as a bra for you everyday look is just plain crazy;) lol:) But anyway you know how seeing the bra is back in style, well I thought I'd try that look for fun but with a touch of me in it:) hahaha did that make any sense? probably not so let me carry on....I also added some accessory touches to give it that Lewildfox feel. from the feather to the earrings, to my favorite signature brown weaved belt to the hair braid:) so there my look is a mix of all things good:) hehehe:) Things I love and things I've grown to appreciate and things just screams me:D So my tip is to take inspiration from the people around you and from even the things around you:) Make it your own and enjoy it;) and as always just have fun with it!;) Have a great day ahead guys!!!!:) Cheers!!
