So I wore this outfit last tuesday when I had a number of work and errands to run. Since I had meetings to attend to I needed a semi formal work mode look for people to take me seriously. I opted for shorts just cause it's summer and it gave me an excuse to wear my favorite high waisted shorts and for the sake of me having to sweat like crazy. I don't think it's particularly inappropriate to work in shorts it's just the way you put the look together that basically makes or breaks the look. During my meetings in the cold air-conditioned rooms I decided to layer up and remove my fedora hat just to be proper and during my errand runs I removed my houndstooth vest and replaced it with my hat to protect me from the sun. I believe that layering and adding on to your look makes a huge difference. Trying wearing the same look in a different manner or treatment:) With that said have fun and Work your look;)

FILECASE: MARTA'S PAPERTRAIL SHOP
These cases from Marta's Papertrail shop are one of the most stylish and most efficient file cases I've ever owned. People who know me know how much I'm a big neat freak and how OC i am about papers and filling items. So I usually take this with me to work when I have papers and important files to bring around. This file briefcase is super like and quite thin but has about 8 compartments that you can store files in a fashionable and organized manner.
Paper Trail is Located by the entrance of SAN LORENZO VILLAGE, MAKATI across Hotel Celeste.
-Directions: When you're coming from Edsa, turn in to Arnaiz Avenue/ Pasay Road. On the first stop light, hang a left and we are on the building to your left. The building has Shop Familia, Metrobank, carpet and antique shops.
